This class is for those who have no previous French study or have forgotten what they have learned. Emphasis will be on learning a new sound system and listening skills by studying vocabulary and basic grammar. You will learn to understand and say simple things using the present tense of the three basic word groups. At the end of the class you will have covered the following: Introducing yourself, names & relatives, dates, seasons, colors, body parts plus reading signs, asking for directions and restaurant ordering. You will gain confidence by putting together words to form sentences and express a variety of ideas. You will be able to have a general conversation.
