Practical Business Accounting 1

Students will set-up a chart of accounts, analyze transactions into debits and credits, journalize and post transaction, record and adjust closing entries and prepare a basic balance sheet and profit and loss for both a service and merchandising business. There will be a presentation on the differences of reporting for sole proprietorships, corporations and partnerships. Also included in this course is payroll from beginning to producing yearly W-2 and W-3 forms. This will be completed using a manual system.
