"This workshop is designed to give participants the opportunty to explore the book as a means of visual and verbal communication, to work with traditional tools and materials of bookbinding and to make several book structures that will serve as models and inspiration for individuals or the classroom bookmaking project."

Each Saturday we will focus on the fundamental skills of the book arts. The first Saturday some work will be assigned to do at home to bring for the following Saturday class.

We will also examine and respond to the work of other book artist past and present using the book as a means of expression.
