At Lyndon Institute the theater program combines course work with an extracurricular production program. Students can take a theater class all four years of high school with acting levels 1 through 4 offered during the school day.
Students have the opportunity to develop skills needed to qualify for acceptance to excellent undergraduate theater programs and for work in local amateur productions.
The Lyndon Institute Theater Company, a dedicated groups of actors, singers and dancers, is always working the next show. A strong technical theater team (lighting, set design and construction, costumes) is behind the scenes. The theater company meets three to four times per week with three productions a year -- a fall play; an evening of one-act/one-scene performances in the winter; and a spring musical.
