Biography

Loralee Tester graduated from Lyndon Institute in 1996 and completed her BA in French Language and Literature from Boston University. She returned to the Northeast Kingdom in 2000 to teach while pursuing her Master’s degree from Lyndon State College. In addition to her M. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction, she completed several additional courses from Middlebury College in French.

Loralee has been teaching French in the area since 2000, from Kindergarten to college level. She serves on the Catamount Arts board, and has also served on the Good Shepherd Catholic School Board. She enjoys being active and spending time with her husband and two sons. Cooking and knitting are hobbies she enjoys.

Loralee believes that Lyndon Institute is a crucial part of our community and provides an excellent education for all kinds of students. It provides incredible leadership opportunities for our children, and is an important counterpoint to the other area high schools. It carries an incredible amount of tradition and provides grounding for our community.
