Heather Pulver-Gaillard Batalion is the Staff Development and Training Coordinator for HireAbility Vermont. Heather grew up on a farm in the small Northeast Kingdom town of Walden. During her time at LI, Heather was a member of the Student Council, Spanish Club, Class Secretary, Victoria Viking, manager of the girls basketball team, and was awarded the Outstanding History Student Award. Similar to her time as a high school student, Heather believes it is important for her to not only be involved but to give back and continue to create a robust environment for education and the community in the NEK.

After taking a "gap year" doing City Year, an AmeriCorps program in Providence Rhode Island, Heather graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a bachelor's degree in history.

Heather, her husband, and her son live in Essex. She is passionate about contributing to a community that supports educational and employment opportunities for all Vermonters. Heather enjoys traveling, photography, local food, and laughter.
