Biography

Ryan Noyes ’93 graduated from Vermont Technical College in 1995 with an A.S. in Civil Engineering Technology. In 1997 he began work at VHB, a civil engineering firm with offices in 13 states. He recently celebrated his 20th anniversary with the firm and is currently the Manager Design & Visualization Technology Team.

Mr. Noyes has been an active part of school governance since his election to the role of corporator in 2008. He previously served as a trustee of Lyndon Institute from 2010-2013, including roles as the Trustee-at-Large on the Executive Committee, and as Chair of the Buildings & Grounds Committee. Although he stepped down as a trustee in 2013, as a corporator, he remained an active member of the Development Committee and is instrumental in the execution of LI’s annual Independence Fund Golf Tournament.

He is also active in town government, having served on the Lyndonville Planning Commission and currently serving as Kirby’s Zoning Administrator. He currently has a daughter enrolled as a
freshman at LI and a son attending the Thaddeus Stevens School, which is located on LI’s campus. Mr. Noyes is a resident of Kirby, Vermont.
