One very special event that occurs each year at Lyndon Institute is the statewide Vermont State Dance Festival.
This years Vermont State Dance Festival will occur on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 and marks the 16th annual statewide dance festival for dance educators and teenage dancers from VT high schools and studios!
Registration, workshop sign up, choreography entry, and media/medical release forms for the 16th State Dance Festival are loaded! The workshop offerings chart (list of classes) is still in progress! PLEASE CHECK BACK!
The Vermont State Dance Festival is a day long series of professionally led workshops, standards based faciltated and adjudicated rehearsals, and an evening performance open to the public with choreographies performed by student dancers and professionals.
The goal of the festival is for the student dancers and teachers to have the chance to grow in their own abilities (technically and artistically), share and learn from one another and professionals in the field, make connections, and expand their horizons in the world of dance and performance.
The Vermont State Dance Festival occurs annually and has grown steadily since it began in 2003.
