The Lyndon Institute girls’ basketball program captured its first ever Vermont State Division II Championship in 2017, following up its Capital League title during the regular season.  Lady Vikings basketball has been to the Final Four in three of the last six seasons!
Lyndon fields three teams, Varsity, JV, and JVB, and has consistently had 40-50 students participate at these levels during the past few years.  LI looks forward to the jump to Division I basketball next year after several years in Division II. 
Head Coach Eric Berry, LI class of ’85, is in his 6th year of coaching at Lyndon Institute. He led his collegiate alma mater, Lyndon State College, to its first ever conference championship and national tournament in 2001.  In Berry’s last 12 years of coaching, his teams have made it to the semifinals 9 times and finals 4 times.  Eric lives in East Lyndon with his wife Meridith, daughter Jade, and son Camden.
