Every Day, Big and Small. Documentary Film Showing.

Special free showing of Bess O'Brien’s new documentary film Every Day, Big and Small. Q&A with Bess O’Brien afterward.

November 16, 7 p.m. at Lyndon Institute Alumni Auditorium (no need to pre-register)

Lyndon Institute is excited to offer a free showing of Bess O’Brien’s latest documentary film Every Day, Big and Small, which just finished a statewide tour. The film consists of many vignettes showing an eclectic mix of people, communities, and organizations all across Vermont doing good to help and support others.

Long time Spanish teacher Chris Manges received a Rowland Fellowship to help change the culture and climate at the school. The focus of his project is working to make LI a kinder, more empathetic, and compassionate place where everyone feels like they are seen and matter. He has a work group composed of students, teachers, administrators, and counselors who are helping lead this project forward.

Efforts are underway with LI’s “Voyage to Kindness” to make these themes more visible and widespread across the campus, and we want to include the larger community as well.  Bess’s film shows a wide range of goodness happening across our state, and we felt like it would be a nice way to head into the Thanksgiving holiday as an inspiration to all. We hope to see you there!
