At Lyndon Institute each student makes our community different. We do not tell students who they are; we listen to them and they teach us who they wish to become. No one is just one thing at LI: they are all scholars, workers, artists, athletes, and human beings.
Once you set foot on our campus, it is difficult not to be swept away by the natural beauty of our surroundings. Nestled snugly between the White and Green Mountains in the Northeast Kingdom, LI has supported students to discover their talents and reach their potential for more than 150 years. From challenging STEAM programs to dynamic and interactive classroom environments, we have a long history of preparing students for success. From college preparatory pathways to our Career and Technical Education programs, from fine and performing arts curriculum to our robust and competitive athletics: LI introduces and advances students in the study of their crafts and prepares them to find success and joy in life.
We have students who walk to school from home and we also have students from nearly every continent on the globe. LI is a second home for students, faculty, staff, parents, and community partners, and we are all about the people in our family. We spend each day learning about one another, sharing ourselves, and growing from the experience. Everyone at LI carries a shared respect and responsibility to connect, educate, and support each student as they enter our doors to when they exit those same doors on their graduation day, and beyond.
I invite you to join us and to experience what makes LI so special. My office door is always open; come in, have a seat, and let's talk about who you are and who you may yet become at LI!
Sincerely,
Dr. Brian Bloomfield
