Career & Technical Education

Sustainable Agriculture

Sustainable Agriculture is a three-period technical course focused mainly on farming, landscaping, and logging practices. It is a hands-on, problem-based class that will incorporate numerous field trips, guest speakers, and several industry-recognized certifications. Both individual and class projects will be assigned. The course incorporates technology whenever possible and emphasizes sustainability. Students are encouraged to seek internships in related fields.

Dual Enrollment

Students enrolled in many of the CTE programs automatically earn college credit for their work. In partnership with the Community College of Vermont (CCV), students graduate from their CTE program with the credits from two or more courses, which can be transferred to any accredited college in the US.
