Lyndon Institute Students to Perform at Annual Talent Show
The talent of Lyndon Institute students will be on full display for the public to enjoy on Thursday, October 12th as they perform in the annual LI Student Talent Show. The event, which will feature dancing, singing, and instrumental music.
“LI students have prepared an enjoyable evening of musical and performing arts for the 2017 Talent Show. The LI Dance Company will begin each act with a special performance. The other participants will feature excerpts from Broadway musicals, classic popular songs, and other notable works,” offered LI science teacher and talent show coordinator Jill Nichols. “Prepare to tap your foot or hum along as our students impress you with their stage presence and their musical, theatrical, and choreographed charm!”
Each year the Student Talent Show serves as a fundraiser to support a bi-annual science field study trip. The trip allows students to immerse themselves in the culture and natural history of a region to gain a wider perspective on global geography and ecological communities.
The event will be hosted in Alumni Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. The price of admission is $5 for adults and students; children 6 and under are FREE. All of the proceeds from the event will support the Science Field Study Trip.
