COLLEGE ATHLETICS

Students who are considering athletic competition in college at the NCAA Division I or Division II level must register with the NCAA Clearinghouse. The College/Career Center needs to be made aware of the student’s plans because an end of year transcript must be sent to complete the registration process. Paper NCAA Clearinghouse's forms or online instructions are available in the College/Career Center. The NCAA offers a guide for the college-bound student athlete.
College-bound athletes should watch this video pertaining to those who would like to participate at an NCAA affiliated school.

Steps to follow
Step 1) Speak with your coach/Athletic Director if you are interested in playing sports at the DI or DII level (This allows someone who has an idea of their ability to confirm that yes, they are capable of playing at the DI or DII level).
Step 2) Watch the video with your parents so that you understand what is expected of you via NCAA.
Step 3) Complete the NCAA Profile Page Account for free before deciding on the level unless you are 100% sure.
Step 4) Complete the Certification Account when you know what level (DI or DII) you want to participate in. There is a charge of $90 for US students and $150 for International Students.
