High School cheerleading at Lyndon Institute is where all the fun begins! Students who participate have games, homecoming, pep rallies, and many other exciting events to look forward to. Not only are the simple aspects of high school cheerleading exciting, but you will experience what it’s like to cheer at games with stands full of cheering fans, and you will become a role model to those around you. 

LI offers two cheerleading seasons.  In the fall, cheerleaders are on the sidelines for LI home football games and for playoff games, regardless of their location.  In the winter, the squad not only cheers on the home girls and boys basketball games but also engage in competitive cheer, participating at league and state levels.  This season culminates with the Vermont State Championship in late February.
