Benefit Dance Recital

The Benefit Dance Recital is organized by Lyndon Institute Dance Teacher and VT State Dance Festival Founder/Coordinator, Rebecca McGregor, in an effort to give back to other local organizations that promote youth engagement activities, healthy lifestyle choices, and support lifetime wellness. This year dancers from Lyndon Institute and local dance studios will bring choreography to showcase on the LI stage for an audience to enjoy. Admission is by donation to the event, which starts at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 14th.

The benefactor of this year's Lyndon Institute Benefit Dance Recital will be NEK Prosper.

OUR SCHOOL

Founded in 1867, Lyndon Institute is dedicated to providing a unique educational experience for our students that leads to a lifetime of learning and good citizenship. ARTS

Lyndon Institute is one of the few high schools in Vermont that offers a complete range of Fine and Performing Arts courses. These include full course loads in each discipline: fine and graphic arts, theater, instrumental and vocal music, and dance. Students can choose from a range of classes in each of the disciplines ranging from introduction to art, photography, AP level art classes, and painting; acting, introduction and techniques in dance, jazz and lyrical ballet, dance history and improvisation/composition to dance company, plus concert and jazz band to chorus and select chorus.
