Ryan Paul Named Boys Varsity Hockey Coach
October 10th, 2023
Lyndon Institute Director of Athletics and Activities Eric Berry has announced the hiring of Ryan Paul as Boys Varsity Hockey Coach.
"We are happy to welcome Ryan to the LI community," said Berry. "He was an accomplished player both at North Country and Framingham State University and has always been a team leader. He best reflects LI’s core values—respect for self, others, and Lyndon Institute and will support our student athletes to become accomplished learners, creative thinkers, and compassionate community members," Berry added.
Paul graduated from North Country High School in 2014, where he was team captain of the hockey team and went on to serve in the same role at Framingham State University for two years during a highly successful collegiate career. He was Assistant Hockey Coach at North Country High School in 2015 and at Lyndon Institute last year, during the 2022-23 season. Paul received a Bachelor of Science from Framingham State University, Magna Cum Laude, in 2021.
“I am excited to see the growth both on and off the ice of the student athletes and I can’t wait to get this season started” said Coach Paul about the upcoming season.
Coach Paul went on to say, "I am honored to accept the position of head coach. I look forward to bringing my experience and hockey knowledge to the program.”
Paul lives in Morgan, Vermont.
