Bill Goodhue Named as Varsity Boys’ Lacrosse Coach at Lyndon Institute
March 28th, 2024
Lyndon Institute Director of Athletics and Activities Eric Berry has announced the hiring of Bill Goodhue as the school’s new boys’ varsity lacrosse coach.
“We are very happy to have Bill taking over the boys’ lacrosse program,” Berry said. “Bill has previously coached at the varsity level for many years and his experience is a major benefit to our program. He has a special ability to relate to student-athletes and reflects the mission of LI’s Core Values,” Berry added.
Coach Goodhue began his tenure by meeting with the players at our Spring ‘Meet the Coaches’ night at LI’s Alumni Auditorium.
“I’m very excited to be coaching lacrosse at the high school level again. Although this is still a newer program, my predecessors have done a good job creating a lacrosse culture. We will look for leadership from our returning players to help with developing all the first time players we had come out for the team this season,” said Goodhue.
“I look forward to helping make this a successful team and have the lacrosse program flourish for years to come,” he added.
Goodhue lives in Lyndonville with his wife, Meaghan, and 3 children.
