LI Students Attend Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Vermont Seminar

July 24th, 2019

Lyndon Institute Admissions Coordinator Patrick Rainville is pictured with James Sanborn, one of two 10th grade students from Lyndon Institute who attended the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Vermont Seminar (HOBY) held at Saint Michael’s College.  During the four-day HOBY seminar, students gather at university sites across the U.S. to explore and discover their personal leadership strengths and learn how to apply them to serve their community. Rainville has served on the HOBY staff since 2011. Missing from the picture was Kelleigh Simpson, the other LI sophomore who also attended the seminar.  All ambassadors from the seminar pledge to complete 100 hours of community service in the year following their attendance at the seminar.
