Biography
Sonya is a 1989 graduate of Lyndon Institute. She is currently pursuing her Accounting degree with CCV. Sonya has worked at Lyndon Institute since 1997 and has a deep love for the school. Along with being the Controller, Sonya is the Treasurer of the Lyndon Institute Booster Club and is an Independent Consultant with Young Living Essential Oils and Thirty-One Gifts. She resides in Lyndonville with her husband, Chris, class of 1985, and children, Paige, class of 2015, and Owen, class of 2022. Sonya enjoys geocaching, reading, photography, and spending the occasional quiet weekend at home.

ARTS

Lyndon Institute is one of the few high schools in Vermont that offers a complete range of Fine and Performing Arts courses. These include full course loads in each discipline: fine and graphic arts, theater, instrumental and vocal music, and dance. Students can choose from a range of classes in each of the disciplines ranging from introduction to art, photography, AP level art classes, and painting; acting, introduction and techniques in dance, jazz and lyrical ballet, dance history and improvisation/composition to dance company, plus concert and jazz band to chorus and select chorus.
