Lori started at Lyndon Institute in the fall of 2012. She is the mother of two alumni sons, foster mom of an alumna foster daughter, and grandmother of six future alumni, as well as the wife, daughter, and granddaughter of alumni. She was born and raised in the Northeast Kingdom until 1978 at which time her family moved to California. She married Jim Simpson ('80) in 1981 and they moved back and forth between Vermont and California multiple times before settling in the home they built in Sutton in 1996. Lori is a volunteer member of VFW Post 10038 and also volunteers for the Caledonia County Fair Association in the pulling arena. She enjoys fishing, hunting, horse and pony pulling, crocheting, baseball, and football, and is a fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and LI Vikings! She looks forward to weekend family breakfasts when the whole family gets together to enjoy "Paw's" (Jim's) famous breakfast.
